KEYS TO SPIRITUAL KEYS TO PRODUCTIVITY

KEYS TO SPIRITUAL KEYS TO PRODUCTIVITY

Prayer never takes the place of work -Ps Zacc Kawalala.

I don’t know who else needed to see this because I know I definitely did.

To a certain extent being Christian and having faith in an all-knowing sovereign God feels like the only thing one needs to get by in this life. Many of us Christians do not like to put in the extra work in things because we believe we have all the luck that is needed. As a result, there are a lot of Christians existing and not living and being impactful. Christians can pray, go to church, read their bible and believe in all it teaches but have their work colleagues and family always complain about them.

We have a lot of Christians, instead being the light of the world, are being each other’s light. Not going out to preach the gospel but discussing the gospel among themselves and altering it as they go.

I personally believe if a lot more people took the gospel to the nation there wouldn’t be much time for erroneous revelations. But anyways that’s just my thinking!

Many years ago, Jesus came and died for us on the cross today by the grace of God we can have a relationship with God because of the finished work of the cross.

He died for our sin to give us life in abundance (John 10:10)ife in abundance means life in its fullness. Fullness of joy, pain, laughter all there is to life. life in abundance means you are productive spiritually, mentally and physically. It means you are a great addition to your marriage, church, family and work place and country.

Being Christian does not mean your pastor will love you but your boss will complain about you all the time. The man you are at church should be the man you are else everywhere else too. Jesus was not liked by the world. Not because he was mean to them but because he spoke the truth and … well the truth is not always celebrated! Do not rejoice when you are disrespecting your parents in the name of “Jesus was also hated” and I must be doing the right thing. In reading the bible and letting it become a part of your daily bread you gradually become what it teaches. productivity is necessary for a Christian. When Christians achieve high places, people have no choice but to follow godly ordinances even if they do not agree with them. expanding your influence is necessary in your ministry.

Three reasons why Christians do not get things done:

1.God will give me a miracle. A miracle in its very definition is supposed to be a shocking event. It is not the norm. I am not saying God can not do the miraculous, all I am saying is you do not live your life bunking on a miracle. you have to have a plan for life work hard and do your best at what you do. Any other addition will just come as a plus.

 2. It’s not my calling anyway. There is another extreme that says I know my purpose and what I am doing at the moment is not what is in my purpose and so I don’t have to work hard. In all you do it unto to glory of God(Colossians 3:23). First of all we are told that whether you are doing sacred or secular do it unto god because all that will translate to god glorified or not .So it is unwise to think that just because you know you have been called to pastoral work you cannot work hart in your accounting job.

3.I am waiting for God to say yes. You didn’t wait for him to say yes to you bathing this morning did you?! Sometimes we mask our fears in waiting on God. Be courageous. Be courageous and take up the tasks at hand.

 CONCLUSION

we need to start taking over influential places as Christians and this requires new strategies taking up our lives in our hands and not living like by mistake. Have a plan and pray and believe until it comes to pass. God gives us dreams and it is no sin to want to fulfil those dreams. When you are done reading this go back to your note pad where you wrote down your plans and follow up on them. Revise them if you have to so that they are more feasible and start to run with that vision.

 Remember poverty is not humility.
